MANAGEMENT
   SD Office is under the management of Gena and Sasha Rotenberg. Gena has Double B.Sc. from the Civil Engineering and from the Mechanical Engineering faculties in the Technion (a word leading, best in Israel technical institute). Prior to Establishing SD office, Gena worked as a Head Engineer in a large steel structures manufacturer. Sasha has Double B.Sc. from the Industrial Engineering and Economics faculty in the Technion. Prior to establishing SD Office, Sasha worked as a project manager in high-tech companies and as a software developer.

HISTORY
   In his work as Head engineer, Gena gained extensive experience in constructing steel buildings. During 2013, Gena and Sasha co-founded SD Office us a family business. Since then we are focused on our strong sides: persistent software development, no compromise on quality and constant improvement to reduce mouse clicks. We began with 3 employed steel detailers in 2013 and developed our team slowly and steadily. Today we provide services to dozens of steel structure workshops and manufacturers; from small projects like elevator shafts and staircases, to large projects like bridges, roofs and full structures.

PROPRIETARY SOFTWARE TOOLS
   From 2013 we emphasize software development. If we see that it can be programmed, we do it. If it saves a little manual work; if it saves a lot of manual work; if it is impossible with working manually: we are always willing to invest countless hours of programming to make that manual labor disappear forever so that we will never have to repeat it. We put it as a goal that if the computer can do it instead of the detailer, the computer will do it. This is how we got a very large number of software plugins and add-ons that only we have. None of the tools we created exists outside of our office. Even today we work with 4 highly specialized software developers who simplify our work and save us clicks.

AVAILABILITY
   High labor efficiency results in a short work day and unoccupied steel detailers. Usually 2-4 of SD Office detailers are unoccupied. Detailers workday is flexible. If there is no immediate work, detailers work only 6 hours. If there is urgent work, detailers work up to 12 hours. In a large and urgent project, sometimes up to 5 steel detailers collaborate and deliver within a day or two. A client that refers work to us, does not wait in the job queue. Once a proposal is approved, the work begins on the following morning with no delay. it does not matter if the project is a staircase or a large structure.
